First Stairs for Rotate 3D Model

For Materials I thought Wooden platforms would be appropriate as they wont echo in the stone corridor, and they would be supported by metal (likely steel) beams.

   

Second Stairs for Metal 3D Model


For Materials i figured a solid metal rod with notches into it would make for a support for the egg shaped building but also as an effective staircase.
